The Industrial Technology program at Lenape Valley Regional High School is designed to prepare students to be independent/team, problem-solving citizens in an ever changing technological society. Our program will not only produce excellent thinkers, but also excellent doers. Students will demonstrate self-management skills, applying safe, creative solutions to everyday problems through a visual solution. Scientific and mathematical concepts will be reinforced in the solution/s to all problems incorporating knowledge of all subject areas addressing environmental and social aspects. These visual solutions will be produced with tools, materials, and processes of the Industrial Technology field. Industrial Technology is a body of knowledge, a way of thinking, and a way of doing. It is a curriculum that can be studied, developed, and applied which will produce productive technologically sound citizens.
