Business Education Department offers a wide variety of courses designed for students who plan to continue study in business or related fields in college, students who plan immediate post-high school employment, and students who wish to develop business skills for lifelong personal use. The department identifies the following proficiencies for all students who select our offerings:
Knowledge of the varied skills and proficiencies required by business occupations.
Identification of opportunities that exist in business occupations as part of future career planning.
Development and frequent modification of a personal inventory of business skills.
Opportunity to work where appropriate in a classroom environment that simulates the current software and hardware technologies of the business world.
In conjuntion with County College of Morris and Sussex County Community College, the Business Education and Information Technology Department extends to students the chance to earn college credits through the Tech Prep program.
