• eLibrary provides full text access to over 900 magazines, 209 newspapers including the New York Times, selected  reference books, maps, images, video clips, and the text of some news-based television and radio programs. 

• EBSCOhost provides access to almost 2,000 magazines and journal articles, 180 full-text newspapers, as well as Funk & Wagnall's Encyclopedia, American Heritage Dictionary, business news,, health and drug information, ERIC, an animal life encyclopedia and a picture collection. 

•   Proquest Historical Newspapers (NY Times) delivers the complete run of The New York Times from 1851 to 2001 in full-page image.  For access outside of school use http://www.proquest.com/pqdweb.

•   Encyclopedia Britannica Online includes the full text of the Encyclopedia Britannica as well as Compton's Encyclopedia and Britannica Elementary Encyclopedia.

• GaleNet Discovering Collection provides full text information from well-known reference sources in history, science and literature, as well as biographical information on people from all fields and all time periods.

• CQ Researcher provides comprehensive reporting and analysis on issues in the news.  The reader-friendly organization provides researchers with an introductory overview; background and chronology on the topic; an assessment of the current situation; tables and maps; pro/con statements from representatives of opposing positions; and bibliographies of key sources.

• Scribner Writer's Series includes 15-20 page signed essays on more than 1,600 authors and literary genres drawn from 13 acclaimed Scribner print series.
  

•   ProQuest Learning: Literature provides primary texts and secondary materials geared to the texts and authors most studied in high schools. At the heart of the service are hundreds of Study Unit Pages dedicated to individual authors, topics or themes.
