College Decision Making Week

Happy National Decision Week. For Tuesday's college fact of the day, Did you know Princeton holds a 'mandatory' freshman-sophomore snowball fight? NHS Blood Drive

The National Honor Society will be hosting its Spring Blood Drive on Thursday, May 1st in the auditorium.  All students and staff ages 16 and over are encouraged to donate blood and enjoy light refreshments.  

Appointments are preferred, although walk-ins will be allowed. If interested in scheduling a time to donate, please see Mr. Bird in B205.

NJSLA Testing

Students in Grade 9 and Grade 11 - Please check your email for important information about testing.  

As you know, students must demonstrate proficiency on standardized testing in order to be eligible to earn a high school diploma in the State of NJ.  

State-mandated NJSLA testing will be conducted.  

Students in grade 11 must sit for science testing on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 29 and 30, 2025.

All students in grade 9 must sit for ELA testing on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 29 and 30, 2025.

All students in grade 9 must sit for math testing in any math course.

Students of any grade who are enrolled in Algebra 1 Advanced, Algebra 1 Part 2, and Math 10 must sit for Math testing on Monday and Tuesday, May 19 and 20, 2025.

To prepare for testing, students must: 

Locate their testing room assignments prior to testing: Test room assignments are posted by the Student Center. A copy of test room assignments have also been shared with all faculty and you can ask your teacher for your assignments.  

Get a good night's sleep, eat a nutritious breakfast.

Come to school prepared with a charged chromebook, their charger, earphones that are wired (not bluetooth or wireless).

Students may not be released from testing early. Following the completion of their tests, students may sit quietly or bring a novel to read for pleasure. Students may not use electronic devices and they may not complete homework according to the policies outlined by the State of New Jersey.
