Michael A. Rossi, Jr., Ph.D.

Dr. Michael A. Rossi, Jr., spent his entire professional career in education. He began as a teacher, coach, and advisor in Boston, after graduating from Moravian College in 1988.  While living in Massachusetts, he earned a master's degree from Tufts University.   He returned to his home state of New Jersey and spent several years teaching and serving as the head ladies' basketball coach at Randolph High School.  After completing a second master's degree from Montclair University, Dr. Rossi accepted a full-time position as an Education Professor at Centenary University. In addition to teaching and supervising student teachers, he was the head men’s basketball coach at the college. 

While working in higher education, he began pursuing a doctoral degree at Seton Hall University, which was completed in 2002.  Dr. Rossi returned to public education as a curriculum supervisor, which led to becoming a principal.  He has spent the last nineteen years as a New Jersey Public School Superintendent.  Dr. Rossi is the author of numerous publications and throughout his career has presented on all aspects of the teaching and learning process, as well as associated issues within education.  He lives in Warren County, with his wife of thirty years.  They have three grown children and three dogs.
