Please note, all medications dropped off should be in the original pharmacy container properly labeled for the student. Please do not send medication in baggies, tissues, envelopes, etc. as it is against the law to dispense unlabeled medications.

Students are not allowed to transport medications on the bus or into school with the exception of inhalers and epi-pens. For safety and security, all medication should be dropped off and picked up by an adult during school hours.

Prescribed Medication:

As per the State Dept. of Education, any prescribed medication needs to be delivered to the nurse's office by a parent/guardian, in original pharmacy packaging with a label along with a physician's order and parent/guardian written permission (see form above).

Ask your pharmacist for the medication to be divided into two bottles completely labeled- one for home and one for school. Do not send medications in baggies, tissues, envelopes, etc.
